The Salvation Army-Moreno Valley Corps will receive a check for $2,500 in support of the Salvation Army Meals program to provide nutritious meals and snacks for children over the weekend and extended breaks, free of charge. The Chino Valley Fire Foundation will receive a $2,500 contribution towards the Make a Child Smile family of programs including Spark of Love Toy Drive, burn survivor camps and other children’s well-being initiatives. Grand reopening check presentations at all three stores will be held at the same time, May 8 at 9 a.m. Charities will present donations totaling $7,500 to nonprofit organizations in Chino, Moreno Valley and Ramona. Store upgrades include a fresh cut fruit station, expanded selection of wine and beer, FujiSan handcrafted sushi, energy efficient LED lighting and new wood laminate flooring. Markets completed interior upgrades and expanded services in all three stores. San Bernardino, California-based Stater Bros.
